A fire engine belonging to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) was involved in an accident last Sunday morning at Otwenkwanta, which is on the outskirts of Kade in the Eastern Region.
Seven crew members were injured.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:08 a.m. at a time the crew was responding to an emergency.
Five of the injured are receiving treatment at the St Dominic Hospital at Akwatia.
Two others, who are in critical condition, have been transferred to the Kade Government Hospital.
