The Ghana Police Service on Tuesday [July 16, 2024] arrested Nana Poku Piesie alias Kwabena, who was seen in a video claiming to have had sexual intercourse with a minor.
The suspect is in custody, assisting police investigations into his claims.
Following his claim in a radio programme on Kumasi based Sompa FM and a subsequent publication of a video in which he made the claim, a number of netizens called on the police act and arrest Nana Poku Piesie.
The police in a statement on Tuesday gave an assurance that the suspect will be taken through the due process of the law.
